What is the Freediving?

Freediving is a series of aquatic activities that shares the practice of descending underwater without the assistance of breathing apparatus, often called SCUBA.

In Europe such as Italy and France, Freediving has been recognized as a competitive sport for more than a half century.

Constant Weight

Freedivers descend and ascend using his/her fins/monofin and/or with the use of his arms without pulling on the guide rope.

Dynamic Apnea

Freedivers swim horizontally underwater attempting to achieve the longest possible distance with holding his/her breath.

Static Apnea

Freedivers compete on the duration of breath holding remaining his/her body immobile either in the water of at the surface.
